Rani (2018)

Acrylic on canvas | 40 × 60 cm

A defining piece created during a season of profound heartbreak and artistic discovery following the loss of my dog, Rani. Painted with intuitive, rapid strokes and uninhibited color, this portrait captures not only every detail of her face, but the exact moment I found my voice and confidence as a painter.
